sony's jellybean update

 Two days ago (14/03/13), my sony pc companion diplayed this wonderful message..."you sony xperia j has a new software update"


The update 11.2.a.0.21  took a littile longer than previous updates.Assured your settings or apps wont change.




Notification panel has an all new look..now sony have quick toggle setting in the notifiaction and i dont have to place the annoying one touch widgets for it.
PS:only applicable to bluetooth,sound,wifi and data traffic.

 UI and APPS

The ui has become a little smoother than before.the old ice cream sandwich(thanks "project butter"). Apps (some of them) have compatibility problems."pixlr express" and  "x-plore" file manager always crash on opening.Updating the applications fixed the problem. 

Sony also introduced a new power scheme which has a standbye power saving mode.i must say i is very handy.


The phone  can use Google "currents" and "now".
the app recommend-er is repalced by "Sony select ".Too bad i can't remove it.
Google play has much better suggestions.
Many apps widgets are re-sizable thanks to this jellybean update.


GAMES

The games like angry birds and many famous ones(babel rising,subway surfer) runs pretty smooth.But com2us "summit x snowboarding" is displayed with incomplete rendering."Temple run" lags a bit. Now it works fine after re installing it from google play.so i assume that some old games may have compatibility problems that can be cured on their next update.
